A couple of observations.

I was pleasantly surprised by the color of the Aura Black. It's really has an interesting Black, Blue, Dark Gray effect going on. I want to call it Graphite Black.

As far as all of the buttons being placed on the left side. I got used to it almost immediately. I think the early reviews complaint about this were overstating how awkward they thought this was. And the fact that we can get rid of Bixby altogether.... Major bonus!

This is my first Note and I think this is the perfect phone for me.

I think the reviewers tend to go against the power button on the left because most power buttons are on the right and switching to the Note 10 makes it awkward for them to review and I would sympathise with that but for the general public, most have just one or two phones and it's far easier to get used to the switch.

I haven't seen the Aura black in person but it sounds interesting.

I feel exactly the same way. My silver Note 9 was my first non-black Note since the Note 2. I really like this Aura Black. I also adjusted to the button placement right away. I always take the reviewers opinions with a grain of salt. Same with some people on these forums. I find that people like to look for things to complain about rather than look for ways it might make something better.

I like the Aura Black (It is a really interesting Black) As to the button layout, I am very used to the power button being on the right side of the device and my muscle memory keeps me looking for it there. about 50% of the time for now. (mainly when I am doing something phone related and not thinking about it)

Cheers,
BR

For the buttons, I like it as well. All on one side and got used to it in no time. No complaints at all.

I knew I'd ordered the right color when I saw a YT unboxing of the Aura Black. He turned the phone over and I noticed that dark blue tint. Imo, Aura glow was too brash and white was too plain. After the purple/Grey N8, and blue N9, I was ready to go back black.

Have you received your device yet?? How do you like it from switching from the NOTE 9??

Yes, I got it Wed, unlocked from Samsung. The screen is clearer and it feels lighter. It's faster also. The extra Spen functionality is nice and I'm also looking forward to using the convert writing to text for Word docs. The camera is much better Imo. I feel like this was a worthy upgrade.

I just put the power button on my Nav bar...no issues for me

I just think it's because black and white have been the most common colors for such a long time. So other colors like red, emerald green, Canary yellow, Almond etc,etc are so popular. But I agree, Flossy says it looks like a "midnight blue" which made me almost wish I had gotten it instead of the blue, almost.

I would have loved the emerald green. That red on the N10 is nice too. And the pink. All the colors we can't get here in the US. 🙃
