Auto backup not qworking

[AC Question]

I had a one plus 3 and my phone would not automatically back up app data and settings. As you can see from the pictures everything is turned on but it just does not work. I had a loaner phone (S6) and the backup file was there for that. Now I switched to a OP5 and I am running in to the same issue, I am trying to figure out if there is something I am doing that is incorrect? The OP5 is brand new. I should add that my wife has a OP3 and that one works without any issues.

There are no pictures attached.
Can you login to that gmail account using a computer ?
Is two factor authenticaion enabled ?
Can you send email using gmail app on phone ?
