Auto-Backup w/ Gallery App

I've got the auto backup enabled on my S4. The photos are sent to google+ properly. However in my gallery app, new photos I take that are uploaded don't show up in the autobackup folder. I can see the in Google+, in my camera folder but not in the auto backup folder.

Anybody else have this issue?

I think for new pictures you have to authorize them first. The device should send you a notification for this.
