Auto brightness is funky

I'm loving this phone, and so far the only knock against it that I can find is the auto brightness is really aggressive. And its not even that big of an issue. But I've just noticed that the auto brightness can sometimes be really odd as it tries to figure things out. And to be honest I'm kind of surprised that LG didn't go with the ambient light mode like all other lollipop phones. And perhaps that's why the constant change in brightness is so blatant for me, because I've become accustomed to the much more toned down way that ambient brightness.

Had anyone else noticed this?

Try turning off auto brightness and using Velis Auto Brightness instead. You can adjust the curve, but the default is pretty good.

Auto brightness issues been a problem since the LG G2.. Looks like nothing is changed regarding the auto brightness

For me it's way too dim using auto.

For me it's too bright lol. I use lux lite now

I noticed that this weekend, poor job by LG on this feature. I'll check out one of the apps for sure.
