Auto brightness too dim

anyone notice the auto brightness setting is always way to dim?

I agree 100%. I never leave the brightness in auto mode for just that reason.

Well the new update via kies fixed the auto dim problem as well as the browser brightness. Thank you Samsung.

What update?

1) What update are you talking about? (Just got my SGT and the dim auto brightness is really the only infuriating feature of an otherwise fabulous device!)

2) How did you get Kies to work?
I was so excited to learn about this only to discover that I couldn't get it to work with my VZW SGT.

Sorry, the update did not fix this issue. At least not for me

Your right it did not fix it for me either. At first I thought it worked better only to realize it was not set to auto anymore.
