Hello!
I must always disable auto-brightness when I'm in a low light environment (e.g. evenings, mornings when it's dark) because the Mate 9's auto-brightness is too sensitive. That is, it does a kind of loop, adjusting brightness to the minimum, then increasing a little, then decreasing to the minimum, then increasing a little......
I suspect the algorithm to be too sensitive, so that when displaying a page the light from the screen is perceived by the sensor which makes the auto-brightness to decrease, and so on...
Do you have the same problem? I'm almost sure it can be fixed by software update, but last official update didn't do nothing.
