auto brightness

I unchecked Auto Brightness.

I placed the slider lever right underneath the checkmark. I keep brightness very low.

False, because even with the lights out auto brightness is set much higher than I set it manually. The point being if the auto brightness feature sets it higher than necessary at any ambient light, it's wasting battery.

False, because you assume that you will always, in every situation, remember to set the brightness level to the minimum you require. If you ever leave it on full bright when you don't need it, you just lost all that extra power you saved over using automatic.
