Auto Brightness

Does anyone else think the auto brightness is too dim? And is there any way (or app) that would allow me to adjust the threshold of the auto brightness. That way I can keep it going below a certain level.

I have not had any problems with auto brightness. Have not tried any separate apps but know there are a few in the play store. Just search for auto brightness.
