Auto Capitalise option is broken.

I'm not sure when this started, I've gotten used to it, but I figured I might as well post this. I have a strange problem where the auto capitalise option doesn't work on several apps when it used to do. And yes before you ask the option for auto capitalise is on in the keyboard settings. I'm not sure what is causing it. Help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. Have you received an update for your keyboard app recently? That may have broken that while fixing something else. You don't say which device or OS version you have, but try Settings, Apps, and find your keyboard app. Do a force close, clear cache and clear data and exit settings. Reboot the device and see if that helps. You can also install another keyboard and try it.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I am running Android 6.0.1 and I have the default keyboard. Not sure how to clear h cache on the default keyboard.

Cleared, still doesn't work. I should mention that as I'm writing this it works on the browser. Not on this one app.
