Auto correct on DK28 builds

I had the leaked froyo update for a few days on my epic, and one thing i hated was that the auto correct didnt really work like it does on eclair. Im now using the Trulyepic ROM and the auto correct doesnt work either. I know its based on DK28 and thats the reason why. Is there anything I can do to regain my auto correction? Like something I can install

What keyboard are you using? I'm using the Gingerbread one and its auto correct works great.

Just the stock android keyboard. The keyboard from 2.1 would suggest corrections and words, the only thing this keyboard suggests is names from my contacts.
