Sprint Galaxy S8 Auto Correct, turn it off?

I hate auto correct, I know how to spell and I hate when it takes a friend's name lets say jim and changes it to him. Eff you phone I know what i want to say and how to spell it. So is there a way to turn off auto correct on this phone? I went under text settings and did a quick search under phone settings and found nothing. I hope I just missed the setting, so how do I do it?

You can go into your keyboard settings and turn off predictive text.

Wow that took a long time to figure out. I like the contrast colours for the keyboard, wish I could change the colours.

SwiftKey actually adds your contacts to your dictionary. So it knows when you're talking about friends. The ones that aren't there I usually add to the dictionary for future use.
