Anyone figured out how to turn off auto correct while texting?

Settings>Language&Keyboard>HTC Sense Input>Advanced>Word prediction

I don't think it's that bad. It's annoying that it doesn't auto correct spaces when you miss the space bar though.

I agree. I came from iPhone 3gs and both the keyboard and Autocorrect are far ahead of what the one offers.

Google Keyboard is a lot better when it comes to auto-corrections. There are three settings "Modest - Hard - Aggressive' or something in those terms. Modest is the best.

What I would like to have is a way to have the suggestion WITHOUT the auto correct. At least, the suggestion can increase your typing speed wihtout taking, by default, the worse choice in the series ... !
