auto detection of exersize

I've noticed that the gear fit 2 sometimes auto detects walk and other times it does not. When it auto detects your walking it does not track heartbeat or location. If you use start walking. It does track heartbeat and location. Also if you do 45 minutes of very active exercise it does not detect that you are exercising.

What exercise does it automatically detect. The sales information seems to imply that it detects most kinds of exercise.

Not seeing the detection of exercise on my Fit 2.

Mine detects cycling when I drive to work. Need to fine tune this a bit.
