Auto Factory Reset? Anyone have this issue

So about a week ago my phone dies and I put it on the charger... like 60 secs later I try and start it back up. I was also working on my laptop and used one hand to start the device. Once it booted back up it was factory reset. Asking me to set up my phone... I'll my pics and music were gone.

I may have been pressing the vol up or down while holding the power button because I was using one hand and I can see how easy that can happen but I doubt I went through all the steps to factory reset w/o knowing it... Any ideas.

Nope that's not me... Looks like it might be same prob I was having. Except my phone had just died but yea I had it on the chager as well.

I just experienced the same issue with my HTC One. Were you able to find out the issue?
