Auto reply to text no longer customizable?

Did google take away the ability to customize your auto reply text or did they just put it somewhere else in the settings and I can't find it? Only being able to text "I'm driving now" is dumb. For the record I'm only able to use the phone app since my car isn't AA compatible if that for some reason makes a difference.
