Have you seen this thread? Your solution might be in there.I have the auto rotate on my galaxy s7 turned on but it is not working still. How do I fix this? Tnx
You can try and see if it still happens in safe mode. Here are some instructions for the S7E, should be the same for your phone.I tried ur suggestion but no change, it still does not auto rotate![]()
Has it ever worked?Still not working even in safe mode. What can i do next? Thank you for assisting me btw
I'm no finding much about it. It is looking like the next option might be a reset. Before doing that, let me see about getting this moved to the S7 forums so more S7 users might see it. They might know some tricks that I haven't seen from my searching. It says auto rotate
@Che Aquino : What's the latest Status of the auto-Rotate phone screen.?I just bought this phone yesterday. Auto rotate has never worked.

If no resolved yet. Here's a course of action to consider
1) None of the Fixes provided has worked out so far. So uninstall any App
Launcher-Android cleaners or Antivirus & restart the device. Any better
2) Perform a Settings reset: Goto settings >Back up and reset >Scroll to the
option "Reset settings" and perform the default Reset and
restart the Phone. Does rotate screen works
3) The action that Fix most bugs in Smartphones is the "Factory reset" is up
to You to Carry out one..goFor it to eliminate this possibility
4) Last resource contact, your Phone carrier and request a replacement..
The carrier vendors can. Troubleshot the Phone and decide what
to do in this case. Keep us informed and G. Luck![]()
I was hoping maybe some other users would know if there was something to be done because they had this issue before.I think as a last resort, I'll have my phone replaced, good thing it's still under warranty. Thank u for your help, i appreciate it.![]()
