Auto rotate not working

 I've No doubt that..You've it Turned On from the control icons
Panel by swiping down-Using the middle Fingers isn't it. Try to
do it few times again and after, close the Screen with the
returnKey. Turn off the Phone & reStart it. Better now

Does the icon on the pull down shade say "portrait" or "auto rotate" when you pull down the shade?

It says auto rotate
I'm no finding much about it. It is looking like the next option might be a reset. Before doing that, let me see about getting this moved to the S7 forums so more S7 users might see it. They might know some tricks that I haven't seen from my searching.

O:-) Excellent idea @D13H4RD2L..& KellyKearn: Moving the thread will
give the chance to other-High profile members to dig deeply on this
issue. I do have this bug too, so Hope we canFixed sooner-Bye

I just bought this phone yesterday. Auto rotate has never worked.
@Che Aquino : What's the latest Status of the auto-Rotate phone screen.?
If no resolved yet. Here's a course of action to consider

1) None of the Fixes provided has worked out so far. So uninstall any App
Launcher-Android cleaners or Antivirus & restart the device. Any better

2) Perform a Settings reset: Goto settings >Back up and reset >Scroll to the
option "Reset settings" and perform the default Reset and
restart the Phone. Does rotate screen works

3) The action that Fix most bugs in Smartphones is the "Factory reset" is up
to You to Carry out one..goFor it to eliminate this possibility

4) Last resource contact, your Phone carrier and request a replacement..
The carrier vendors can. Troubleshot the Phone and decide what
to do in this case. Keep us informed and G. Luck

I was hoping maybe some other users would know if there was something to be done because they had this issue before.

One thing you might want to check, because in the past on Samsung phones it has caused some problems.. Is Smart Stay on?

One article I saw the other day indicated that a reset might correct it. If there is a true problem, I would have it replaced also.

When you take it back, let them know you booted onto safe mode and it still happened so you know there isn't an app causing problems and making it do that.
