Auto Sync Huawei P8 Lite

[Android Central Question]

When I try to turn on Auto Sync on my Huawei P8 Lite, (Settings/Accounts/3 dots at top right of screen) the Auto Sync Data message is greyed out and will not allow me to tick this option, what am I doing wrong?
