Auto Sync off save battery?

How many turn off the auto sync to save battery and do you turn it off for a long time during the day? And how often do you turn auto sync back on?

No Sync turned off here (what's the point of having a smart phone if you're gonna cripple it's functions!?). With moderate/high use (no gaming) the S7 Edge still gets me through a day just fine (not 24 hours, but enough from 7am to 9 or 10 pm with 20% left).

You could try to set the it so that it doesn't check for emails as often.

I have auto sync on for backups etc.

My email is set to fetch every 15 minutes.

I advocate the thinking of not turning too much off as to possibly throttle the phone.

One good battery tip I was given years ago was to turn off the Battery % sign and enjoy the phone.
