so ... earlier tonight my phone downloaded a new update. this is the first time i have seen something like this. anyone know what it was or know how i can find out what it was?

It is most likely EA28,
go to
settings>about phone,
what does it say under baseband and build

its the latest update its not froyo if thats what you are wondering ,, just fixed some gps issues, and emergency lock screen stuff,,,, although alot of us are already running froyo

seriously, go to the roms and hacks sub-board and learn up how to flash eb01 on your phone (crazy simple) and ditch samsungs old crap
