I used to have a windows phone that allows me to wireless sync all my pictures / music / videos from the phone to the PC and vice versa after being plugged in for 20 minutes. This feature was great because I never had to worry about loosing my pictures or videos, they get backed up to my server at home and then backed up else where.

I'm brand new to android and I recently bought a nexus 4. I am wondering if there is this feature built into android? If not, are there apps that do this same function? thanks

I use Foldersync (paid) phone to server nightly while I sleep - I believe it supports 2 way syncing.
Free version is https://forums.androidcentral.com/e....tacit.android.foldersync.lite&token=fei8Xoj_

For me its killer feature was Tasker support - at 4:30am if the phone is at home, connected to WiFi and in its "sleep" profile Tasker checks if my server is awake and (using Wake on LAN to wake the server if necessary) runs my Foldersync profile.
Tasker then leaves a notification on the phone advising me of success / problems running the backup.
Foldersync has a support forum on Google groups if you need more details on its abilities.
