Ok, I've been a G3 owner for about ehhh....5 months or so. I love everything about the phone...except when I download load a new game. Constantly having to go to the hide home buttons is annoying. So my question is, is there a ways to automatically hide them with each download. I've try the 2 apps but they didn't seem work well. Any suggestions would be perfect, I'm also rooted so hopefully that helps.

Thats strange cause from 4.4 and onwards google included imersive mode were supported games and apps auto hide the softkeys. What version is your g3 on is it 4.4.2 or 5.0?

Thanks for the replies guys but I'm running 4.4.2 stock and as far as that root app goes I've tried that but pretty much its the same as you said I didn't like it at all myself.

.....hard no but annoying very....every time I install a different game I shouldn't have to constantly go into my setting to do this. By the way if you don't have anything constructive to add.....why comment?

Yet another useless comment. I guess something not functioning properly and me trying to get a handle on the issue is a problem. By the way doing that for every app I install 10 seconds or not is still extremely annoying.

Ok when you bought the phone did you not know it functioned this way? There are phones that do what you want right out of the box.

All the apps don't just the majority and I'm guessing lately more of the ones I have been installing seems to still have the nav bar.

the phone functions properly, just as it was designed to do. It gives you, the user, the ability to decide what apps you want to hide the navbar on. It may not have a feature you want, but that doesn't mean it's not functioning. Your needs weren't foremost in LG's mind, I'm afraid.

Seems you didn't catch the part about google games "immersive mode" for android 4.4 KK which detains the use of the nav buttons when a game is being loaded. Should I post a link of the update log so you can read it? And i never said my needs were needed to be met I'm perfectly fine with the phone I simply said something isn't functioning as it should which is immersive mode. Seriously derailing the thread without is help or additions to the simple question I asked posting a bunch of none sense like you are isn't doing any justice. I'm sure some YouTube comments could use you at the moment.

If you have Xposed download Gravitybox for Kit Kat, there is a setting in there that allows full immersive mode all the time.
