Automatically connect to wifi

Since I upgraded to 4.4.2 kit kat my phone doesn't automatically connect to the router. Every time I turn wifi on it comes up with all the wifi networks it's found & my one is always the top one & it says saved & secure but I always have to click on it then click on connect. Is there anyway to get it just to connect without me clicking on it every time?

Try a long press on the network to bring up forget network. Click that then reconnect.
