Automatically setting musics tags?

When I copy music onto my Samsung Galaxy S6, it automatically changes the some tags such as artist and album to <unknown>. After opening the default samsung music player, the album name would be changed to "Music" or whatever folder it is in. Is there a way to just have it display as a blank? I'm currently running Nougat. I didn't have this problem on Marshmallow. Also, the does anyone know how to change the default album art? Its changing all the songs under "Music" album to all the same image if there is no art.

Welcome to Android Central! Do these music files have proper ID3 tags embedded? Use a PC program like MediaMonkey to check. You can edit ID3 tags with that program, as well as embed album art.
