Automatically turn on when plugged in

Just wondering if the tablet is completely turned off will it automatically turn on if it is plugged into a power source or do you actually have to press the power button to turn it back on. Also, if the battery is totally drained will it automatically turn on when plugged in.

If it is really off then plugging it in will put it in a charging mode and the screen will display a big charging battery. The tab is not booted up at this point. You have to do a long press on the power button to get the get it to boot up.

I have not totally drained the battery but I would imagine the behavior is the same as when it's off and you plug it in (might be a bit longer before you see anything on the screen)
