Autoweek app not working after 4.3 update

Everything fine after update on my HTC 1 GE except the Autoweek app that I read every day. Hangs up trying to load. Tried removing and reinstalling, no dice. Anyone having similar problems after the update?

Recent reviews on Google Play seem to echo your problem. I'm sure they'll work on an update. Bug them: https://sec.crain.com/AW/CustomerService.aspx

I sent an email to Autoweek support and...guess what? I actually got a response from a real, live human!

Here it is:

"Thank you for using our Android app. Unfortunately we had a server failure last week that temporally brought down several of our secondary services, including the android app. You may have noticed a large portion of our racing section is currently missing from autoweek.com.

We plan to restore service to the current app within the next week, and have a planned overhaul to the app in about a month. This overhaul will update the app to meet current Android design guidelines and will bring a few awesome features with it. The current version of the app should work fine (after the restoration) on any version of android from 2.3 to 4.3, but does experience some issues with the new Nexus 7 and other super high resolution displays.

If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions on the Android app, feel free to contact me directly."
