AUX Cable not detected

[Android Central Question]

Hello, I recently purchased Huawei Mate 10 (yesterday), and when I plug in AUX from my car radio it does not detect it and doesn't connect. It can't be the radios or the cable's fault, since it works on my previous phone. I don't have a case on it.
It also works on multiple headphones, so it looks like only AUX does not work.

Anybody got a solution?

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure -- the volume on the phone is turned all the way up, right? If it's pretty low, the sound coming through the car stereo can be so low that it sounds like it's not working.
