So i did a test 2 days straight with the OnePlus 13 and the S25 Ultra cousin phone both were at 100% by the end of the evening i was at 75% and my cousins S25 Ultra was at 15% battery, we did everything together if i opened a app he would do same as me repeatedly all i did and Samsung battery life is horrible lol

I apologize in advance if I'm disturbing this topic with an inappropriate question... no one is perfect...

I have a new OnePlus 13, battery 4 cycles (read via Aida 64) and 2 things indicating that something is probably not quite right.

Charging: from 15 to 100% in 55 minutes, OEM PD3/QC3 30W charger. The charger was really running at full speed, it was very, very hot. I would expect that result from a 67W charger but not from a 30W lazy one.

It seems like it barely charges to only 50% + - capacity... or a similar value. Well, the endurance is related to this, it is more or less weak, if it was 8 hours of active use, it would be great, but I'm afraid it was about 2 - 3.5 estimates, unfortunately I'm somehow lost where to find the data on battery usage, I assume that with a new purchase this will be deleted and further discharge will reveal this data / value.

In every review they praise the battery life, but they don't say under what conditions it happened... I mean no one even knows how many cycles the battery has gone through and whether it has somehow settled in capacity and then the battery life was almost like something out of a dream...

thanks for your patience 🙃

Welcome to AC!
If you go to settings >type in the top bar battery health it will take you how much the capacity is at .
If you go to the same search bar in setting and type battery usage it will tell you what apps are using battery, I'll provide screenshots

I have this newly turned on. Capacity is 100%, but the mystery remains as to why the battery was charged by the slow charger in a record short time... 🫥 Now I guess there's nothing left to do but use the phone and trust that everything will "settle down" and be as it should be... tHx

1. again used a charger with a power of only 30W.

2. From 1 to 100% in 72 minutes.
That's somehow too fast...

Interesting fact:
even after the notification Charged to 100% when the charging indication disappeared, the battery was still charging for about 10 minutes with a power of up to 5W. Then the charging was actually finished. The battery voltage was 4490mV.

Interesting data from AccuBattery:
Average charging speed: 34% / hour.

(Samsung S23FE charges to 100% in 1h20min and the battery is 4500mAh with a maximum power limit of 25W. )

The practical endurance is also not great... see the picture.

OnePlus13 vydrz.jpg

There is something missing from the dreamy 8-10 hours... ( in my case only 5h38min)
So either I'm doing something wrong, or I didn't understand the phone or I don't know...

I'm not saying that the phone doesn't have endurance, but the idea was simply more optimistic.
Another question: how to prevent the phone from disconnecting from Wifi during the night? I absolutely don't understand why it does this, I couldn't find any option to keep the wifi awake anywhere in the menu... that's really bad.

Another thing: 5G mobile network. I live in an area where 5G is not yet available, but it is available on nearby transmitters about 3-4 km away. My old phone sometimes picked up a very weak signal from it, but it couldn't hold out and the phone switched to LTE+. The OnePlus 13 is paradoxically sometimes more sensitive, that is, than ever.. and it probably picks up a 5G signal, in my case the well-spreading 700Mhz band aka Band n28. But it is still so weak that it cannot use it, as if it only detected this band in the air and immediately wildly indicated 5G on the signal icon. I check which network the phone is actually connected to without any fabrications via NetMonster, thanks to which I know that the OnePlus13 simply distorts or incorrectly evaluates the signal situation.
Is there a way to provide feedback so that the manufacturer can address this?

And for now, the latest thing, a new firmware update has been released: OxygenOS 15.0.0.840 for the OnePlus 13 and quite a bit of dissatisfaction, better not to install it?
Thanks for your patience and understanding, hopefully my ambiguities will find answers and help others in the future. :giggle:

If my questions clutter this thread too much, I'll post them in a new thread...
