I have a few music apps I am trying and when I experiment with the aux cord and plug into my truck the music apps start playing music on their own. I Uninstalled a few music apps and it still auto starts with the few apps remaining.

My question is, is this auto start play an LG thing or is it the individual apps. I haven't had time to look through the music app settings and haven't used the music players much to know it they default to auto play. I just find it to be a weird situation no matter what is making music auto play when plugged in. And another thing, I will choose one player, play a song and then another music app kicks in playing a song as well, so I get 2 apps each playing a song at one time. Very annoying.

Pretty sure that most music players have an internal setting to auto play with cord insertion. There is a setting in the Smart settings to select what app to open when cord is plugged in. Hope this helps you out.

Most music players have that setting to auto play toggled on by default. If you go into the settings you can turn off auto play when connected through aux/headphones. It's usually the first thing I do when loading a new player.

Check your Smart Settings. I know that's an option there. I don't have this issue with mine, though.

The music app I'am using which is new to me is PowerAmp, and yes it is set by default to start playing where it left off when you plug headphones or anything into the headphone jack. You can change it by opening the app, typing the ... in the bottom right, tap headset/bluetooth, and uncheck "Resume on wired headset" and "resume on bluetooth".

that might be the app thats doing it to you
