My aux cable won't work with Note 7. Tried in my car so could listen to my downloaded songs on Napster. Won't work.

Yes my blutooth headsets work Just not the aux cable in my car and that works with other devices too

I meant basic wired headphones. Just want to determine if there's an issue with the phone's headphone jack.

Could be the cable I've gotten through auxiliary cables in the past and some didn't work well, cut out and paused music or the volume level was messed up. I left mine on a trip and just picked up a cheap Belkin aux cable at best buy. It works fine in my car on my note 7 and I use it for music all the time. Google play music all the way

Works with wired. Very weird not with aux

First, when you connect via the aux cable, make sure the phone's volume is turned all the way up. If it's pretty low, then the car stereo won't be able to boost it very much, and it will seem either way too soft or nonexistent.

If that doesn't help, then try a different aux cable--they should be pretty cheap.
