Available June 4 for $199!

evo for $199.00!!

this from engadget evo will be sold for $199.00 on june 4th!!!! yes!!!

Simultaneous voice and data capability in 4G and Wi-Fi coverage areas, enabling Web surfing and more while the conversation continues!!!!

This phone is going to be bad ass....Too bad it comes out on a work day. I wish it would have dropped on a Saturday!

Work day or not...if they do not announce a pre-sale, which it does not seem they will...but who knows! I will be at the first Best Buy or Shack that I know has them release day!

I actually don't mind too much that it's an extra $10 for 4G...$30 for the hot spot. I'm not in a 4G area, so that is good for us people that don't have it available yet. And it's only $10 more when it is available!

Oh okay, that's not bad at all. I do not need the hotspot, but I currently have Blackberry service so I pay an extra $10 anyway. June 4th can't get here soon enough. Hopefully, BestBuy will do pre-orders

Im miffed about the $10 buy up. 4g is supposed to be cheaper to run and why would someone pay extra for 4g when 4g doesn't cover most of America?

I dont mind the extra $10, but $30 for the hotspot is too much on top of the extra $10. I pay $30 for cable at home, but I do not want to tether all the time. I feel like it would over work the phone. Oh well...

In the document that The Shack had they will be doing pre-orders, so I don't know why BB wouldn't be doing it as well.

Too bad the tethering is $29 additional.

For me it will be 69.99+10 (4g) or 79.99 a month. This is still a lot cheaper than the other 3 national companies. I also get 18% off of that because of a employer discount.

Not too bad. Just would have liked to have been able to tether my computer while away from home.

I know $10 is not a lot, but as a sprint rep, I am going to get a lot of people bitching and moaning about that $10 charge and people on the fence might still stick with their current service provider. Especially in a recession/depression I don't think people want to increase their monthly bills.

Don't be too hard on James. He was at work while we were fishing for the info being released in NYC. Sprint kept a tight lid on the info and he was too low-level to trust in keeping the release info secret. Tomorrow, James will have all of the right information.

I'm chatting now. It was mentioned that ALL shared phones had to be on the plan.
So is it $10 total or each phone? Is the additional $10 only in 4G areas?

This is not going well.

Doing some reading while waiting for Helix S. simo voice & data. thought they said that was not possible without "system upgrades".

This is not going well at all.

dont worry, I am texting a friend that works for Sprint and is at work right now, and he has had no info about this update. He is pissed because i had to tell him about it. This is funny as heck. We know before the employees of their products. Got to love this.
