I have a D Inc and am using Advanced Task Killer. When I restart my phone ATK says there is 220M of available memory, yet after a period of about 3 minutes it goes down significantly (I have gottten as low as 44M of available memory)
First question is, does that seem normal? Also, I have read to not bother with app killers, but if apps are staying open and using resources wouldn't you want something to terminate them? I am a week into being an Android owner and am still figuring this stuff out so please be kind.
I have tried opening a bunch of apps and obviously the memory goes down, yet when I "kill" off apps using ATK the available memory only goes up a few MB. I'm not sure what settings to change or if I'm doing something wrong.
Just confused as to why the available memory goes down and never seems to go all the way back up unless I do a hard reboot of the phone.
