Available software update

Nice job HTC fixing the issue, and nice job Sprint on getting that update approved and rolled out. As much flak as Sprint gets for their spotty network coverage, they do seem to be slightly more transparent then other carriers and more willing to allow Android be Android on their network.

Buttons certainly are more responsive. Holding down the Home button to access Google Now is still hit and miss on my device.

I never had a problem with my buttons when I had the phone. They were responsive. When and if they fix the Bluetooth issue, I'll buy the phone.

This is good news. This is one of the biggest complaints I had with the HTC One.

Same here. The only other issue would have to be how warm the device gets with constant use.

But I that is likely not something that can be taken care of due to how much power these devices have these days.

Do you think the metal material makes it feel warm longer?

Just updated my phone, buttons are now perfect. They respond each time, and my Google now is now 100% unless my finger slips off the button. Very happy with this fix.

I guess this means us ATT users can expect the update ??????

Play with the S4 for a while. Within minutes of using the browser, it gets hot....I MEAN HOT! My One never got as hot as the S4....NEVER!......I miss the "One" and I'll be honest, I made a mistake going with the S4. I thought since I loved my S3 I would love the S4 and boy was I wrong. I mean it's a good phone, good screen, and a good all around phone but I just don't like it all that much. Sorry for the rant but I had to say it.

Its been awhile since I have been on AT&T so I dont remember how timely they are with their updates or if they just give their customers the middle finger and make us wait ala Verizon

What issue are you referring to?

Bluetooth. The only way to get voice commands to work with a mono headset such as the Motorola Command One is to uninstall the voice search update. Otherwise it's totally useless. You lose the google now widget as a downside though. Also, getting it to sync media...with anything using BT...is a chore and it doesn't work most of the time. Like I've said before, not sure if it's a Google or HTC problem but phones should not ship with defective stuff out of the box.

This is a known issue. Maybe not for everyone but for some....

Just remember too...if you are rooted and want to keep being rooted...dont accept any OTA's (if you can even get them anymore)..
