Are you rooted? Mine freaked out a bit after I rooted.

AVG definitely does not like that you are rooted, if you are, when I used it it would come up with a security problem every time it scanned.

I would try lookout security. It worked well for me when I used one and it's nice because it does it's automatic scans and also does automatic backups. Plus it scans software that you're installing.
