im gettin the new OV from bestbuy, will i be able to evade the black screen problem since bigsupersquid said that the new IHO builds fixed this.....

Will i encounter the black screen problem after i root and attempt to flash IHO Backside ??

don't use rom manager, do it all through adb or terminal, and you'll be fine.
the main rule of roms and recoveries, regardless of screen type:
NEVER, ever, ever flash recovery and rom at the same time! Always be sure you have one of them working before you flash the other.

then how do i custom recovery and flash ,if i do not want to type in complex commands?

Check and see if romtools works, I think it's OV compatible.
If so there should be a post with it in this forum somewhere.

If you can choose your recovery with rom manager and it doesn't just default to its own CWM recovery, you can use it to flash in xionia recovery or one of the others in the blackscreen thread. I've never used rom manager but I've seen all kinds of issues posted from using it.

android screencast is supposed to be good too.

I did the rooting part easy with Gingerbreak. Just install and run the app.

The rest is gonna involve adb, theres no good way around it :P
