AVRCP stopped working with Lollipop upgrade???

Hey Team,

I upgraded my S5 active to Lollipop. Now the AVRCP doesn't work in my car. I have a 2011 Mazda 3. It did work before, but since the upgrade it does not. I use it with Songza/Spotify while driving. Just want the display to show the artist/song etc. I have unpaired and repaired my phone to my car's bluetooth, did not fix the problem. I can still hear the music, and skip songs, just doesn't display the information anymore. Called Mazda, they told me to contact Android. Please help.

I am having the same exact issue with my Galaxy s5 and my 2012 Mazda 3. I use it with Google play and Pandora. Both worked up until upgrade. It is maddening! An fix would be appreciated.

Same here, with a Mazda 3. It's been a problem since Lollipop. I was hoping 5.1.1 would fix it, but no.

I have the same problem. I have a 2013 Camry and a galaxy s6. Since the last upgrade on the galaxy, track data no longer appears on the car's screen.
