Android Central Question

I was using my Axon 7 recently when I saw I couldn't save any photos. I thought this was odd so I restarted my phone and then found that every single one of my photos was now GONE and I STILL could't save anymore. I then reset the cache. Still nothing. I then went into my file sorter app and saw that while all of my photos were still in their correct locations, there wasn't any folders to hold them. That's right, it shows that all of my photos were indeed in their correct folders, BUT the folder count was 0. I have no idea how this even happens but I would like to be able to see my photos from my camera roll again and not through a third party app that I have to screenshot every time. I'm just presuming downloaded photos aren't saving because the file destination isn't correct.

Use your file manager app to find the DCIM folder in the phone. Then look in there, and in the folders that are in there.

(If they're really gone, and you never backed them up, you'll have learned a lesson - always back up any important files on any computer. The old computer line is, "any file you haven't backed up is a file you don't need".)
