sup guys! here I am, back again to Android world hahahah my latest phone was a Lumia 640XL, and even tho I really like Windows Mobile, that phone camera disappointed me, yeah, even being a Lumia lol the automatic mode and flash were a complete disaster! and it was also having some performance issues, maybe because of the unfinished Windows 10!

since there are no mid-top ranges on Lumia line, I ended up getting back to Android...once again.

I'm now the owner of a LG G4 Beat and I have to say, I'm truly enjoying this phone!
really great 5.2" FHD display, great design, great camera, Snapdragon 615 and even tho it has 1.5GB of RAM, performance is really smooth, even with lots of apps open! Adreno 405 also handles games really well, for a mid-range gpu.

also I actually enjoyed the renewed LG UI and customizations, feels pretty light and looks very refined! it current runs Android 5.1.1 but I hope it will get Android M in the future :)

worth mentioning the camera, which does a pretty great job, and LG camera software is really good! has all the manual controls I was used to with the Lumia + good and consistent automatic mode, laser focus and a really good double led flash, the 640XL is put to shame in these 2 aspects, only slightly winning at manual pics in low light!

only downside of this phone is the 8GB of internal memory, but still i was able to install everything I need + Township and Lara Croft Go, with over 1GB still free!

photos and music, obviously, always go to my 16GB microSD.

I have to say Android 5.1.1 is really good so far, i feel like memory management is a lot more consistent, improved, what made my worries about the 1.5GB disappear. and the OS as a whole feels a lot more fluid and refined!

so that's it! like I said, I love Windows Mobile, but I just had to make the switch this time, feeling a lot more satisfied with Android atm :)

Hello, welcome to the forums! Glad you're enjoying Android and your new phone. See you around the forums!

Welcome!

Yeah, I really wish I could get the LG camera app on my Nexus 6P. My wife owns a G4 and out of all the camera apps I've used, OEM or third party, LG's camera apps are always the best looking, easiest to use, etc... There are third party apps that do a pretty good job of replicating the features, but I really like LG's UI layout.

LG does a great job with cameras... ever since probably the G2...
