My Back and Home button light is off most of the time. The only thing I changed was that I use Nova Launcher. I heard Leo Laporte say he had the same problem. Anyone else?

The only time I noticed the lights were when I held the power button at the lock screen. The back and home button lights flashed a few times before my phone restarted.

Yeah it's like the EVO 4G LTE, the buttons only light up when it senses low light conditions (read: DARK). Personally I'd like to up the threshold a bit, I've been in some dim rooms where I can't see the buttons at all but the phone still isn't lighting them up. The opposite is true for auto brightness - that setting really cranks up the brightness beyond what is necessary, so I've gone back to using the screen brightness widget and almost always have it set at the first setting (1/3rd).

Coming from the One X, I agree that the lights on my One X would come on in low light conditions that my one isn't. It does need to be tweaked. If you cover your sensors then the lights should come on.
