Back button disappeared

[Android Central Question]

While in any of my apps (Facebook, kik, text messages), my back button is no longer visable. It seems I need to go all the way out to the home screen to start over in an app where I used to be able to click the back button in the lower right corner. Please help!

I have lg stylo4 and my back,home, and recent buttons wont pop up when i slide the screen up.
