Back Button Issue - Ghost pressing constantly

Hi guys,

I have recently bought a galaxy S6 T-mobile black sapphire and been using it for 2 weeks but the back button starts pressing itself randomly and everything just back out to home screen. I couldn't do anything else except for accepting calls.
The problem is I can't return or ask for exchange to the store since I don't live in the US.
I scanned through the web and found some has encountered the same issue but I haven't found a real solution. I'm actually a noob at rooting and flashing things to phone. My phone is unlocked and rooted. I did things like - factory reset and asked someone to flash the stock rom for me but the ghost pressing is still there so i'm thinking that i should completely the back button and use an app for replacement. However I don't know how to disable the back soft key.
Any other suggest?

Sorry to hear you ate having this problem. It for sure seems like it is a hardware problem. This should be covered under manufacturer warranty and so give Samsung a call. Now be for warned, their service is quoted to to a 2 week turn around time. On the bright side they should fix your phone regardless of your carrier and where you live.

I just started having the exact same problem today. I may be visiting the At&t store tomorrow. I'll let you know what they say.

I've already rebooted my phone multiple times and the problems is completely random. I'll be in any app it will automatically start backing out of apps until it gets to the home screen. It's extremely frustrating.

I've got the same issue. 1 Month old. Impossible to do anything with it. I better call Samsung then, if anything you tried didn't work.

could be a coincidence, but this worked like magic to me:

1. enter YOUTUBE

This BUG was so annoying... and this guy from the video, saved the day!

See man.. i hacked this bug.. u just need to tap and hold the back button.. and use your mobile while holding your back button.. realease it after 5-10 secounds.. ur mobile is good now
