Back Camera Lense broken Galaxy S5

Don't know how this has happened, I haven't dropped the phone but I noticed today the back camera lense has shattered, its still clear for now when taking a picture but I would like it replaced. My question is has this happened to anyone else phone? And any advice on how best to get this fixed..... do I contact Samsung, phone provider, try taking it to a shop? Any help appreciated.

How long have you had it? I've heard a few stories here and there about the lens shattering, it's just regular glass.

Just over a week so not long at all

Well hopefully you got the insurance with it and they will just swap it out

Seems to be happening to quite a few people. Do you use a case, especially an otterbox case by any chance?

It's not insured unfortunately, tried asking in a Samsung shop they said because of the watertight feature it would cost ?160 to replace . Asked in phones for you and they can send it off for me but I won't get a price until they see it.

I've read of a few people on this forum having the same problem.....I'm not sure what the cover is you mentioned, I have a gel type cover on its at the minute.
