Back from iPhone X

I'm a front right pocket guy. The Note 8 sticks out of the top of most pockets!

One thing I've learned is that I really prefer a smaller phone. I've been using Notes and iPhone + for a few years now because I bought into the "big screen" hype. I like the size of the X better than the Note 8 so the only logical thing to do is get the S9 immediately upon it's release, right??

Yup. I loved the S8 because of the overall form factor. Of all the Android phones in 2017, I thought the screen to body ratio was the best on the S8.

I actually used my sister's iPhone 8+ for a good while.

I like it a lot actually. It's a damn good phone despite being in a shell that's already showing its age.

I guess this must be a fashion thing. I don't have a single pair of pants that my note 8 sticks out of. Jeans, shorts, dress pants, khakis, or sweatpants. It fits in all of them without issue. It's normally in the Samsung rugged case too. Still no issues.

Most of my jeans are the kind that sit lower on your hips with a shorter zipper than back in day. The pockets aren't very deep. It makes it hard to step up into my truck with my Note right pocket.

I'm actually using the iPhone X as my primary for a couple of weeks just to play around with iOS 11 a little more. It's a great device but it definitely won't be replacing my Note 8 or Pixel 2XL. iOS users finally have a great device that's more modern. I'm actually looking forward to when Apple releases a X Plus or whatever they decide to call it.

There's just too many good devices out right now. If I could afford it I'd have my Note 8, an iPhone X and a Panda Pixel 2xl to choose from. I love my Note but I definitely like a lot of features on the other 2

Welcome back to Android. I went from iPhone X to Pixel 2 XL and I find the walled in garden of iOS suffocating, despite the awesome hardware.

Was loving my Note 8 but just had to try the iphone X. Got it, tried it for a few weeks. It's the best iPhone ever made but I missed the Note more than I loved the X. My daughter loves her *new iPhone X.

Yes! I love my note 8 but it does stick out of my right front pocket too! lol my iPhone 7 fits perfectly in my left pocket though even with the otterbox case. I find that I like to have 1 big phone and 1 smaller phone and use them interchangeably.
