Back glass vs gols

I know the back glass is susceptible to scratches but I was wondering how weak it is. I have a rounded gold (I think 14k) wedding band that sometimes makes contact with the back glass. Is that anything to worry about? I'm mostly concerned with the camera lens.

gold cannot scratch a glass because they are not harder than glass. if it scratches then they are not gold

14k is an alloy.
