I'm by no means a "somebody" in the rooting world, but had a nice setup on my old HTC Desire (BravoC) with CM7 and the mattedblues theme. Switched to Sprint and picked up the 3VO and am starting to do a little research into rooting.
May not actually ever be rooting, since CM isn't stable for the 3VO yet and I'll be getting Ice Cream Sandwich early next year anyways. May just wait and see how that turns out.
