back plate cracking?

I was putting my moto 360 on this morning and looked at the back and there are not one but 2 cracks on the back of the watch I called Motorola and they will be replacing the watch right away but I was wondering if anyone else has has a issue with the soft plastic on the back cracking?

My back too has cracked. In two places, both about a third of the way up from where the band connects.

I'm about a month and a half into the device. I'm going to bring it back to Best Buy. Even though it's past their exchange time, I've read in other places that others have had similar issues and best buy has taken them back even after 30 days. I hope so... Really don't want to deal with Motorola and have the wait for shipping, etc.

I returned mine back to Best Buy for cracking. No problem getting a replacement.

Oh wow that's bad. Just pulled mine off and it's all good. The suede on the other hand looks horrible now

Coleman.... Out of curiosity, what band did you have on it? The one that came with the 360, or did you throw a 3rd party band on it?

It was over 30 days, but I am an elite plus member so I have extended return times.

I had a third party band on it but it did not crack anywhere near where the bands connect and the bands were a little bit smaller than the original

After I read this post, I took a quick look at mine. I've had it for almost 2 months now. I have no cracks. I am what I would consider pretty hard on my watch. I work outside for a living and wear it in some pretty harsh conditions. I will keep an eye out for cracking on the back.

I read somewhere that cracking on the back could be caused by having the band to tight and for me I know several times I tightened it up allot (I have never worn a watch before the moto 360) so I never knew how tight it was supoused to be now I know it isn't supposed to be tight
