I traded my Nexus S for an EVO 3D today - my Nexus wasn't rooted (by choice) but this 3D is. I'd like to take it back to stock ROM, and was trying to follow the directions from the sticky. However, I'm worried about my data on my SD card - I know that unrooting the phone will wipe it - will it also wipe my SD card? I'm not really wanting my SD card to be wiped. Also, is it really as easy as it seems to unroot the phone?

thanks

Also tried to download the stock ROM from the sticky and it won't open or extract. Says the file is invalid?

ok, working on the download now on my laptop as that's got my card reader on it.

question though - do I place the entire zip file on the SD card or do I unzip and then place files?

thanks

No, just rename it to PG86IMG.zip and reboot into bootloader.

Scott - tried to download the latest stock and it still says file invalid - and that's coming from the new link. not sure what's going on, but nothing wants to download from your site :(

Sorry the site is down :( glad to know that I'm not totally crazy though! :) I'll check on it tomorrow - bedtime for me. I've got to get up early and go put my money down on my new iPhone 4S for Sprint :):):):)

I'm jumping ship..if only because I now work for Apple :)

Hey what are you going to do with your Evo 3D?

honestly, probably sell it - I had a Nexus S 4G that a guy traded me the EVO 3D for. I saved the money for my iPhone, but since I'm not working, could def use the extra cash.

Hey Scott have you gotten the website issues fixed? Site still comes up, but when I download the file it's still invalid?
