Well guys...I might go back to another Gear 2 or try out the Moto 360. I was very excited for the Gear S but that officially wore off. I don't know about you but I think Samsung launched the Gear S and Edge concept to create buzz around the Note 4. Not a single unboxing online for any country? Humm.

I am with you on that. I have been pumped up to buy the Gear S, which was supposed to debut right with the Note 4. I had the Gear, and the Gear 2, but now I want the Gear S, at least give us a release date, or reason for the hold up.. sheeshh!!
I feel your pain...I ordered a Gear 2 Neo a few weeks ago just to hold me until the S arrived. And tonight I just packed it up to return it to Amazon while I can. Bummer.
Ya, I sold my Gear 2 because I "thought" Samsung had their s*** together. Whoops...obviously wish I would not have sold it.
Mobile Fun is showing my black pre-ordered Gear S as arriving in "2-3 weeks" and the white Gear S "due in 3-5 days". Based on my experience with Mobile Fun, the S should start showing up next week!

I am on your side, so I hate to burst the bubble...Mobile fun said "2-3 weeks" 2 weeks ago. That "2-3 week" message has been posted for a while. Lol on white arriving in 2 or 3 days. Too funny! Those jokers...
No bubbles burst here. When I ordered it on Oct 8, it was clearly not going to arrive in 2 weeks...in fact, it was more like 4-6 weeks, But time will tell and I really don't care if its next week or next month because it's pretty clear that LG and others are going to burst on the scene this holiday season with very competitive products including 3g connectivity. I want to get my Gear S during that magic window when I can sample all the best products and return what I don't want within the 15 or 30 day grace periods.
I am not a fan of their site. I ordered an S view for my Note 4, they sent a wallet case. I sent them several emails and received no response. I tried to cancel the part of my order that hadn't shipped. No response. Phone number was bogus. I am now stuck with two cases i dont want. I opened a PayPal claim because they obviously aren't interested in replying. I will NEVER shop there again.

I got a chance to see a White Gear S and try it on. I then relooked at the Moto 360 and think that I will remain with that for awhile. I just don't think that its all that attractive in my opinion. The Moto is far from perfect but, they are constantly updating the device so things are improving.
Btw guys, Samsung has a neat app in the play store called Samsung Gear S Experience. It's a pretty cool experience allowing the user to move around the infterface and applications of a virtual Gear S. What do you think?
Yeah, as a guy who's had Samsung watches since day one, this quietness is making me nervous about spending a ton of cash on the Gear S. Reason is, I dropped $300 bucks on the first Gear, then 6 months later I spent another $400 bucks on the Gear 2. HA- only a couple weeks after they lunched on Sep 3rd, there was a news article talking about them looking into a larger screen already. Which tells me the Gear S2 could be nearly bezel-less. That's how they would get extra size out of the next version.
