Is there any way to get the timer to stay on the screen

Hey guys, I think this might be an issue with the new OS. But when I set a timer for like 30 minutes, I want the timer to stay on the face of the screen even when the the watch goes black. But now it just appears as a little pill at the bottom of the screen and I have to tap it to bring the timer back up. Is there any way to fix this? I changed the setting to show the last app for 2 minutes and it still didn't work. I even disabled the pill thing and it still didn't work! Just wondering if I'm missing something here?

Try the new Display Assistant module/app within Good Lock. It allows you to keep the screen awake upto 10 minutes and is set per app.

I don't have that. I have a pixel phone. I think that's a Samsung only thing?
