I was a happy Rezound owner about a month ago when after playing with the ipad I decided I wanted a iPhone. So I found some one to trade my Rezound for an iPhone. Less than a week using the iPhone I realized it wasn't for me. Plenty of apps, but I missed swiftkey and the large screen. Plus the fact I was without service alot, because the iPhone couldn't find a signal half the time.

So after finally having enough I got back on craigslist looking for an android. I ended up with a Droid Razr. It's not a bad phone, but believe it or not, it actually left me missing Sense. There are certain things Sense makes easier than Moto's skin.

I have finally found someone wanting to trade a Rezound for a Razr, so I am back here now and you won't have to worry about me thinking the grass is greener on the other side for a while.

I also had a Droid Razr from back in November. I used it for 2 months and then got this Rezound instead. The RAZR was a good phone but it was too thin relatively to its footprint and cramped my hands when typing. Also, the battery life was too short. Rezound + Extended Battery fixed both problems.

The only other phone I would consider equal in value to the Rezound is the Razr Maxx. It's a bit thicker than the Razr and the battery life is fantastic. Plus, Smart Actions app on the Razr and Razr Maxx phones is really well implemented. I used it for so many things when I had the Razr.

The high definition video Netflix streaming and Smart Actions are the two things I miss the most about my Razr.

BTW, I'm now singing the Welcome Back Cotter song in my head after reading your post.

Derron, the Rezound has 1080p video. Same as the Razr.
Edit: oops! Read your post wrong. Sorry.

Just wanted to add that the rezound has a HD display. The Razr has a qHD display.

Yes, despite the fact that the Rezound has a higher native resolution and pixel density than the Droid Razr, the Netflix app can stream HD content on the Razr while the Rezound's Netflix app will only provide standard definition. I've also noticed that there are many movies in the Play market that offer an HD option for my tablet but only standard definition for my Rezound, despite the tablet having a lower resolution.

I'm always on!

There's a work-around for the HD content of the Netflix app, just involves downloading and installing the appropriate netflix APK.

It's kind of disgusting how HD has now become the video equivalent of "JDM". Even if the car part isn't actually "JDM", it's just thrown on there to help the piece sell quicker.

HD Netflix App - xda-developers

That should be the APK you want. From what I read there is some issue with Netflix's full screen HD app and our processors, so the linked APK in there doesn't actually go full screen but the quality is supposed to be massively improved.

As xxfallacy noted, that's what I recall when the .apk was introduced, as the basis for the workaround. Qualcomms' S3 is the reason for the inability to access hd content w/ certain Market/Play apps. They failed to meet a security requirement on the S3 chipset. I'm not sure on how it played out, may have been, realized to late in production to correct. They did it w/ the S4 pre production so those owners will have no problem once they make those specific devices compatible in the future. The workaround Netflix .apk does not require root to install and use. It will not access any hd content running on GB, though. It was modded for use on ICS roms. It worked fine until the 4.0.3 update. Something about the update botched the bypass of a security certificate check in the ca.perm file w/in the Netflix app. I've never seen or heard about a patch so I'm not sure of the current status. Should still be compatible with an ICS 4.0.2 rom, though.
