Back up to Gmail app

I tried using the free sms Backup+ and could not get any info. So I purchased Backup to Gmail. I am still having the same problem both apps miss received messages in backup. Both apps
get the time wrong on received messages. They are correct on my phone but at least 4 hour difference on gmail backup. I have a Droid x. I have looked into this problem for over a week and
I feel google has no answers. I am ready to just give up. Can any one help. I am 69 Years old and not overly savy about things. Help please

I read the details about Backup to Gmail in the Play store. The developer noted timezone and backup issues for Droid X users. You could email the developer or check their website listed in the app description.
